I am a sadly displaced longtime-LiveJournal refugee. Cribbed, lightly edited, from my intro there:

What do you/will you write about? My garden. My animals. Hellenistic astrology. Tarot. Pagan spirituality. My increasing understanding of myself as a very small cell in the body of All There Is and my surprised discovery of the deep contentment of not being "important" as my culture defines importance.
What particular qualities do you look for in a friend? Honesty, humility, humor.
What would cause you not to add someone as a friend, or to delete them? Hatefulness or bigotry or drama. I wish I didn't I live in a world where I to have to add 'genocide denial.'
Favourite films or TV shows: Television, The X-Files. Homicide: Life on the Street. NYPD Blue. Crime Story. Highway Squad. Push, Nevada. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Movies, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dunkirk. Bohemian Rhapsody. A Face in the Crowd. Duck Soup. Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Favourite books: The Gormenghast trilogy. Ethan Frome. Black Beauty. American Gods. The first Thomas Covenant trilogy. Maus. Catch-22.
Favourite foods: Tahini. Fresh corn picked an hour ago. Irish soda bread. Anything I can grow or bake myself.
Favourite drinks: My coffee in the morning with cinnamon and half-and-half. A cold beer on a hot day after mowing the lawn.
Favourite bands and musicians: Beatles. Bowie. Prince. Joni. Peter Paul & Mary. Queen. Beaucoup Blue. The Grandsons. Fripp. Ramones.
Hobbies and pastimes: I garden. I cook. I learn.
How would you describe your style? Comfortable, practical, washable!
Anything else you'd like to tell us? I'm a cat person. I'm greatly blessed with a spouse who suits me. I rode horses for most of my life. I used to get paid to sing. I wrote a bunch of fanfic back in my relative youth. And finally, I'd like to tell you that I probably thought about this too hard.
